Life for girls and young women in Nakyere Village is much different from what we know, many of them having no other option but to marry as young as age 13 in order to be able to eat and have shelter. As a church, we seek to sponsor 36 teen girls in Nakyere Village, Uganda, for skills training and discipleship. The girls will participate in a skills training program, learning hairstyling, manicuring and catering. These skills will enable the girls to support themselves and their families finically, absolving them of the need to marry at a young age for stability, giving them a hope for the future. This program also includes close discipleship, sowing hope into their eternity. Together we can change the future of 36 young women here on earth and in heaven.
For every $4000 raised, we will be able to sponsor 12 girls in learning a skill, either manicures, hairstyling or catering.
$4000 raised = 12 girls learning hairstyling
$8000 raised = 12 learning hairstyling + 12 learning manicures
$12,000 raised = 12 hairstyling + 12 manicures + 12 catering
